GUIDE TO MOSQUITO CONTROL AROUND HOME, YARD AND GARDEN

• Keep area and yard around house free of standing water that might be found in empty flower pots, old tires or cans. Keep rain gutters clear.
• Change water in bird bath at least four times a week. Mosquitoes need standing water to breed.
• Keep lawn and garden trimmed and neat. Tall grass and weeds can be mosquito hiding places.
• Spray bushes and other plants, making sure you spray under the leaves. Spray under lawn furniture, under your eaves and in window wells. Spray during the day when mosquitoes use these places to rest and hide.
